Best thing I’ve bought in years!
This is an awesome product!! I highly recommend it. It’s so convenient, compact and so far (fingers crossed) quite durable. I’ve had these key ring glasses for about 3 months now and I absolutely love them! Having said that, I think it’s pretty common sense to handle them with care. But even if I had to buy one every two or three months I just might! That ‘s how much of a game changer they are for me.Now what you should know is that they are not glasses for social occasions or any kind of rigorous or action based activity. So for example, you shouldn’t wear them while you’re cooking (unless to glance at a recipe) or eating. They will pop off your face once your expressions change, like when you laugh or smile because there’s nothing hooking it onto you face except for the clamps at the bridge of the nose. Also they work just as well as my regular reading glasses. They are very light weight and on occasion I’ve forgotten they were on my face because they are so light. The times they’ve worked best for me was when I was at the post office or grocery store or even the doctors office and needed to quickly fill out a form or read the packaging of a product or even read something leisurely while waiting for an appointment or even to glance at a menu in a restaurant. They’ve been absolutely Indispensable! I highly recommend this product & I stand behind the five stars I gave it!

This is how much I like them.
Exceedingly compact and a nice, protective case. The lenses are basic plastic and prone to scratching but they are inexpensive, arguably stylish, and if I need to replace them in a couple of years, that wouldn’t bother me at all. Hence I got four in different colors and also purchased the “Clarity Kit,“ which comes with only one case, that’s less compact and less elegant, but 4 readers in different strengths.

Very handy as backup!
I love these. I have them on my keychain, they're definitely a big help when I am out and forget glasses.

Scratches galore!
After years of wearing progressive glasses, and being able to see near and far at all times, I switched to multifocal contacts. The catch was that with my prescription, I would need reading glasses on occasion, depending on what I was reading. I wondered how I would handle this glasses thing. I thought of carrying a small magnifying glass, but where would I keep it, and what if I needed to use both hands and see up close at the same time? It would have been a major nuisance to be going in and out of my purse every time I needed to use my glasses for only a few seconds.Enter ThinOptics readers! I ordered the keychain case, and clipped it to my belt loop. These glasses are perfect for when I need to to read something quickly for a short time. It's so easy to take them out of the case, and put them back! For the first few weeks of using my ThinOptics, I thought all my glasses troubles were resolved. Then came a disappointment. A few days ago, I took them out of the case to clean them. When I held them up to the light I found scratches on them. I then read the reviews on Amazon and noticed lots of complaints about scratches. Some people were even purchasing new pairs of ThinOptics every 3 months because they loved the glasses but hated the scratches.I carefully examined my case and realized that the scratches are the result of sliding the glasses in and out of the case. The inside of the case is just hard plastic with no soft lining. Besides the lack of a soft lining, the bottom end of the case, and the slider slot, are open at all times, allowing for dust particles to enter, and add to the scratches. This issue of the scratches is extremely disappointing to me, as I had already gotten accustomed to the convenience of these glasses. In order to avoid more scratches, I won’t use my keychain case anymore. I have replaced it with my leather AirPod case, which I purchased on Amazon a few years ago. It has a strap, so I can still keep it on my belt loop or on my purse strap. I insert the glasses with the nose piece through the bottom of the AirPod case. It fits perfectly in the hole for the Lightning charger cable. The outer edges of the lenses press against the sides of the case. The front and back of the lenses are not in contact with anything. When I insert and remove the glasses, only the outer edges of the glasses rub against the sides of the leather case. I don’t anticipate any additional scratches.ThinOptics comes with a case that causes scratches on the glasses. That is careless planning on the part of the person who created the cases. After so many complaints about scratches, I think the vendor should make an effort to redesign the cases. I would give 5 stars for the glasses alone. These glasses would be fine in a plastic credit card case with with a soft lining and hinges so that the glasses could be inserted and removed without sliding.

Convenient access to reading glasses
I am absent minded. I seem to be always looking/searching for a pair of readers. I have multiple pairs scattered all over the house, desk, toolbox and vehicle so I don't have to go too far. But when I'm at a restaurant or in a meeting, it can be a struggle to read a menu, etc. These portable readers on my keychain have proven handy.Cons: I can't tell the front from the back. When on backwards, they still work but there is a visual distortion around the lens edges which is not really a big deal to me. But they work better in one direction over the other. Also, since they are supposed to be flexible over the nose, they seem to be fragile. Maybe they're not. Time will tell. If they break soon, I don't know if I will get another pair. Probably not. I am afraid I'm going to break them getting them in and out. But so far, so good. Also, it's hard to handle them without getting fingerprints on the lenses.
