First shredder I've ever had that is not noisy. It runs nice and smooth.Nice size and great value for money.I use it for home use.Would definitely recommend.

Bought this shredder to replace an Amazon basics one that had given good service. This is not the fastest machine I have ever used but it does shred very efficiently and does not struggle even when shredding 8 - 10 sheets of 80gsm A4 paper. The front pull out basket makes it easy to empty without having to lift the heavey shredder part of the machine. Only owned it for a couple of months but very happy and would recommend.

Easy to assemble. Works efficiently and quickly shredding both paper and single credit cards. The pull out drawer is one of the reasons I purchased this shredder but care has to be taken when putting it back in. A downside for me is the quite short cable.

Quiet in operation. Easy to use. quickly cross cuts a few sheets of a4 paper but it takes a little longer to go thru the maximium of 10 or 12 sheets. Therefore, i tend to shred 1-6 sheets at a time to avoid any strain on the motor. Easy to move on castor wheels. A nice design that does Not ;look to office(ie) Easy to empty with simple removal of bucket

A very good shredder for the home. Quick and relatively quiet. Dispatched and delivered promptly.

I had ordered a Bonsaii machine but it arrived broken - no problem, Amazon sent another. That was also broken in exactly the same place so I decided to change brands. The Duronic seemed to meet all our needs so we ordered it and so far it seems good. It doesn't say if I can leave paper clips and staples on the paper but for safety and longevity I decided not to risk it.. It says it has a thermal cut out after 2 minutes but as we only shred single sheets when we use them we are unlikely to meet that barrier. Well made, easy to assemble and works well. Quite noisy but I suspect all shredders are.

The shredder (PS571) worked well in the beginning, and I liked it. But, after 6 months, it started making loud banging noises (while shredding). Duronic were helpful to the extent that they arranged for collection, repair and return of the shredder, but the latter took 7 weeks!The repaired shredder worked well for just over a year, then developed the same problem again. I investigated the issue and it turned out to be due to plastic spacers between the cutting wheels being broken; the spacers (see photo in product description above) are made of what seems to be an inferior quality plastic as they break too easily.The spacers were broken at multiple sites, and at these sites, paper wrapped around the rotor arm and become compacted, almost solid. On two occassions, I spent significant time removing the compacted paper, but the compacted paper problem returned quickly and the shredder bacame unusable both times.Very disappointed, I've now discarded the shredder, almost 2 years since it was repaired by Duronic. I'm going back to Fellowes who know how to make robust cross-cut shredders, albeit they cost more!

It is ok.....buy very very slow !
