I did a test strand with Jumbo rod (orange) and I like the wave. However, there are no end-papers, cotton strip, and conditioner. Especially, end-paper...they are not easy to fund household items. And you have to tear the box for instructions.

I'm severely allergic to this and my skin becomes red, swollen and painful. The solution made my hair very burnt and dull.

I put this perm in last night, July 9, 2024 and it worked great ! It did burn theskin around one eye so be very careful. Use a lot of cotton around the hairline!The red burn is still noticeable this morning. If it were black I'd have a black eye.This stuff seems to be powerful. I have no natural body in my very fine hair butthis sure gave it a lot of body ! I don't think I've ever had a perm that workedthis powerfully. Just watch out for your facial skin !

Its my fault for buying this without double checking but this product is strong! I used it on my mother thinking I’d give her the classic old lady waves but i ended up turning her into a clown. It also took a toll on her hair health and made her hair strands brittle. So make sure you know what youre buying!Quantum has a ‘milder’ perming product so if youre looking into a more natural wave, then i highly recommend searching for that product.
