Good value and perfect fit

Delivered on time and well packaged, excellent quality and well built. This was my first ever loft hatch I have fitted therefore I required all the help I could get. I have heigh ceilings and required a large opening and this product pro The Keylite Timber Wooden Loft Ladder and hatch is already built and comes with excellent instructions, all I had to do was make sure my measurement where correct before I started cutting and installing. The unit come apart to enable fitting then you can re-attach ladder once the hatch in secure, the finish and quality is to a high standard.

The ladder was easy to install which was great, and everything about it is pretty decent. Just some small improvements would really make it perfect. Firstly the pole used to open the hatch is to short and i always need a stool. The wood used feels flimsy but has maintained strength. A coat of oil or paint or rubber on the steps would improve the ladders appearance and longevity.

Easy to fit and works great watch packaging not very good as hatch cover damaged in transit

I bought the 3.8m ladder as we have high ceilings (10'). The ladder itself looks fine. It is very stiff, although I presume it will loosen over time. But unfortunately it is supplied with a tool for opening the hatch that is too short. I am six foot tall and if I stand on tiptoe I can only just open the hatch. If you're shorter than that you have no chance, unless you stand on something.
