Much better than having any kind of discomfort if you're cycling
I'm a middle aged chap, I'm overweight and I'm unfit so when I sit on a normal bike seat these days it's far less than comfortable and it's been putting me off cycling. I need and want to get fit and cycling would be a helpful component of that if I could tolerate it.These are definitely much more comfortable than any basic saddle for me, and they're actually fine to wear when I'm not cycling as well. Not that I can see many people doing it that often, but if you're planning to cycle to the shops, the cinema or to visit friends I honestly don't think you'll have any problem. Unless you're wearing extremely tight trousers, which you presumably won't do while cycling, I doubt anyone will notice anything unusual about these. You can machine wash them which is good because they'd be useless otherwise.

Ok for short rides
Helps with mild mitigation of some of the aches of bike riding and sitting on uncomfortable surfaces. The medium padding is nice for more casual wear, but the size was a little ungenerous in areas and wasn't overly comfortable to wear long term. Otherwise, the material itself was a breathable mesh which was good for getting some airflow and was easy to clean

Not for me
The medium size fits ok overall but the waist band is a little high for me so I had to turn it down, not a massive problem though. The poor thing for me has to be the legs. The legs are pretty short and made from a light material that rides up as soon as you move around. They were bunched up like some loose pants before I got on the bike. The padding is fine though, did an hour with no signs of a problem with padding but the legs rode up so that my thighs could rub on the seat itself so that lets these shorts down for me.

Good Quality
Ordered the mediums, fit was good on me,Always handy to have a couple versus just one, cycling shorts by ROTTO, order arrived on time and well packed. The colour (grey) accurate as advertised. Upon my inspection with my order, all the stitching was good, fabric is nice and soft and stretchy. Elastic band around the top was adequate, not the best due to the size but OK. The padding is always going to be very subjective to each persons preference, for me it was fine, gave some support, the padding is on the light duty side versus anything serious.Overall considering the price, £19.99 at the time of this review, useable underwear for short distant rides.

Padded Cycling Shorts
I don't ride my bike enough to built a tolerance to saddle 'ache' so any help in reducing the amount of aching is a bonus. These underwear shorts are nicely padded, not too much to notice from the over layers and provide moderate relief when cycling longer distances. The shorts do work well and give some relief but the ache still does come, just later than usual. The material feels ok, they wash fine and the size seems true to UK size.A good 4 stars.

Comfortable and cool - really good!
I have an eMTB that I like to take out for nice long rides (long for me!) On it I have fitted a gel saddle but, even so, I still get occasions when 2/3rds of the way through the ride, standing on the pedals becomes a must.Even with a gel saddle, I wear padded shorts. Endura do some with a removable, padded liner. These were an absolute godsend for my tender nether regions but, unfortunately, over a few years I have seen the price go up, and up, and up...So much so, that I need an alternative. Having been offered on Vine, and having tried, these ROTTO padded undershorts, I think I now have one.I am well used to cycling gear coming up small (why?) so ordered these in an XXL. I am normally a L to XL but these fit just fine. Not tight but not so loose they moved around of their own accord. When worn I could feel how they were lightweight and, although I could feel the pad it didn't feel too bulky. More importantly, they felt quite cool.I went for two rides, one ten miles further than the other but both on beautiful, but very hot, and sunny days. These undershorts really did a good job of keeping me comfortable. Even when I got slightly uncomfortable, a quick change of position did the job.More importantly, down there I didn't feel like a boil in the bag chicken, things felt nice and cool. For the sort of riding I do; approximately 30 miles of road, trail and woods, these are just about perfect.

Medium duty padding and a good fit.
These are designed for going under regular shorts. I think they are mainly popular with mountain bikers but I use them on a road bike when I'm doing casual rides with stops and I want to look vaguely respectable. The shorts are light with mesh material for good airflow. The padding is good quality and in the right places from a man's perspective, I'm not sure if they are as good for women. They are a good fit, comfortable and true to size.In use the padding isn't as good as in my full cycling shorts but it does the job for shorter rides.I've had other cycling clothing from this brand and they have performed well over many months.

Super comfortable and fits perfectly
These cycling shorts are just the right size for modern saddles, and they don’t get in the way when walking off the bike. The compression feels comfortable, not too tight, and the padding absorbs vibrations really well during longer rides. Overall, a great product for both comfort and performance!

luftig, leicht, komfortabler Sitz, minimales Polster

Saludos

tessuto leggero e buona imbottitura

Good padding and ventilation with one drawback
I really like the pad on these shorts. As a larger rider I find that I need denser foam in the pad than some shorts have. This is substantial enough that I don't immediately collapse it. I also like that the main body of these shorts is a mesh material to allow plenty of air to flow. That's one of my favorite things about the integrated chamois in some of my baggy shorts and it's nice to have a standalone one I can wear with any shorts. The one drawback is that like other boxer brief underwear I've worn while biking, the legs tend to bunch up. This isn't the end of the world, but I have to think it increases friction in that area and I wish they had either made these a little longer or added a silicone strip along the bottom of the legs to keep them in place.Otherwise I really like these and they fit pretty much spot on according to the size chart.
