It does work! I tried to use this for my eyebrows and started to get hair growth in other areas. I would suggest being careful when using this as a woman.

I got this product for my mother. She has noticed that she is losing less hair and that she has some hair growth in areas where she has little hair.

Been using it daily for a while on a semi-bald spot and thinning hair near my forehead, and I haven't noticed any difference. Your results may vary, but I know that Minoxidil in general is a mixed bag and generally, it barely ever regrows hair.I don't notice any tingle or anything else either. I tried a different mouse product, and I could definitely feel in tingle/itch a little, as if you knew there were some active ingredients in it (unless it was a chemical skin reaction).

I've been using minoxidil of one brand or another for a few years. I have FPHL (female patterned hair loss) and alopecia areata (thank you pandemic!) For first time users: Minoxodil takes time to work - real time, as in 4-6 months. There are multiple stages of hair growth and it has to work it's way through the stages.When I couldn't find the brand I had been using, I decided to try this Dr Yiman brand. The product is easy to use. It comes with in a dark glass bottle with an inserted metered dropper so you can measure how much you are using in your twice daily dose. I have to assume that this product really does contain the 5% minoxodil solution; there is no third party testing labeled. It is not sticky or gummy like the big name brand. It does dry out the hair that is trying to grow in the scalp area in which it is applied; moreso that the brand this is replacing. This product is a clear and so it does not stain my salt & pepper coloured hair. All in all, Im glad to have this - it beats the alternative!UPDATE 6 months later: I'm still using the Dr.Yiman 5% Minoxidil. It is reasonably priced, it isn't gummy, it doesn't change the colour of my hair (altho' minoxidil will change the texture of your hair by nature of the drug alone). I would recomend this product.

I have a sister in law with thinning hair and my wife ordered this for her. She's been using it for a while but I personally can't tell if it's helping or not. At least for the positive outlook my SIL has while using this is worth 4 stars.

I have tried many different brands of Minoxidil and application methods. I like the dropper as it allows for more precise application. I do not typically wash my hair each day as it is color treated and dry. I do notice some residue left when using this which I do not like. I feel like I need to wash each day which I do not want to start doing. I have not used this long enough to see results, but will update my review if and when there is something to report.
