Very nice ink.
Very nice ink. Flows well and seems to last longer than others. This colour is very dark burgundy, almost black

Very interesting colour
Arrived safely yesterday so gave me some time to clean my pen and get some writing out today. It is definitely on the watery side of all inks I have used in the past (Noodler and Pelikan), flow is very smooth and the colour is very interesting, its between deep cyan and royal purple. It is a lot more impressive to see in person. For sure as it is more watery then remember to leave more time for the ink to fully dry. I used this ink on 100gms paper and it seems handling it pretty well without bleeding.

Good value ink
A nice big bottle which should last ages, the Writers Blood is quite dark and different to what I'd normally use, but has a fairly good flow. Ideally I'd have liked something less dark, so may give Ox Blood a try next time. Decent price for the size you get.

Ink is splendid despite Amazon's eye watering price
Diamine Writer's Blood has become one of my favourite inks. It shades beautifully, flows very well and has excellent saturation. Highly recommended. However, Amazon sells this ink at double the cost of other retailers such as Cult Pens!

Excellent ink
Diamine Writers Blood ink is a wonderful deep crimson ink. The bottle is well designed and allows enough room to insert the pen nib and is beautifully designed.

A very wet ink
This is a special edition by Diamine made for a Reddit group I believe. It is a dark cool burgundy like a darker version of Syrah or Tyrian Purple or Noël, also by Diamine. Not a bad colour, has some interesting shading. Only downside is that it is a VERY wet ink indeed and feathered for me on several papers inc. Tomoe River (shown in photo stuck on Rhodia) and went straight through 3 pages, which is worse than the wettest Diamine ink I’ve used before (and I have about 100). The company kindly sent me a replacement in case it was a faulty batch but it wasn’t - the replacement was just as wet. Not an unpleasant ink but not one to use in books!

unsealed and opened bottle, no ink left
the ink bottle was not only unsealed but was opened. All the ink had leaked over the other bottles in the package and was completely empty.
