Honestly,after reading reviews how good is this wax and generally for your beard I tried!Picture on the left before applying and on the right after applying wax!Do you see any difference?I'm using shampoo,conditioner,oil,balm and softening beard wax and can get much much better result.For such a small tin I would expect good result,but sorry,this one is just a placebo

And so, the search for a decent moustache wax continues. No hold what so ever with this wax. I've purchased so many amazon beard products the past few months and this wax offers the same hold as any of the balms I've received and nothing more. Not for styling a tash in the slightest.The texture is the same as some of the strong hold m.waxes I have so in my opinion it is is far too tough to be applied to the beard as its only manageable when applying in extremely small doses.This is also the first product I have received that I actively dislike the scent of (not that it lasts so a minor issue).

This is a hard wax, concrete hard, harder than diamond, harder than a guy with a really hard beard...be warned! The instructions ask you to scrape it up with your nail then rub it between your palms to soften it, before applying. The last time I had nails was long before I had a beard, so this is difficult, but after bluntly stabbing at it, you can manage to scrape a bit up. Rubbing it between your palms certainly softens it up, but the small amount you've scraped up is now spread across your entire hands, good luck trying to transfer it to your beard. It doesn't smell too bad, a bit like a cross between pine trees and cat pee, that's probably the best thing about it.

Will definitely buy it again and test out more products from this brand.natural look, good smell, all around a good product.if im really looking for anything negative to say about it and now I'm being really pushy, it feels like the hold/shape doesn't hold for too long.As a reference - I'm up early and ready for the day at 6am and after a good hard day with the outdoors and dogs the hold/shape is, not the same as when I saw myself in the mirror earlier. This is usually around 2.30pm. When home again around 5.30pm the shape/hold is much gone.There is still some product left in the beard so small adjustments is possible but not much.Might perhaps be same with all waxes on the market, Again in am a beginner in the world and don't have much to compare with.

Been using this wax for about a week now and I'm on the fence a bit, the smell is not what I would say 'overly pleasant' but it's equally not offensive. I bought seven potions as I'd googled moustache waxs and it was rated 2nd on the article I read as a medium hold wax. This unfortunately is where it has scored down for me, I've been growing my face hair for 3 months now and it's getting to a length I like and I want to style my tache more and have a good hold for most of the day. However this wax doesn't seem to allow that, I wash, dry and brush then style with the wax first thing and within an hour the twizzled point I style has dropped out 👎🏻 The wax is certainly the best for plyability it just isn't the hold I was looking for, perhaps I should have gone for strong hold 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have to be honest this stuff really don't work well for me it doesn't keep a hold of my moustache one bit, works okay for the beard but couldn't keep its shape throughout the day.I'd warn anyone if they are wanting to use this for the same purpose as mentioned above you might be pretty disappointed, upside is that it smells good and isn't too oily or greasy.

If I wash/dry my beard, oil it and the. Use this wax it’ll take my wirery beard.On days I don’t wash it, it doesn’t hold it as well, but the smell is great (although the citrus tonic one isn’t very “citrusy” to my nose).I’ve since bought their hair clay which is also excellent and left over clay will hold down the odd hairs that are stubborn!)

Has a very pleasant smell and is quite easy to apply. As promised it is nit visible and has natural look. And you don’t have to worry about getting it out, by the end of the day it’s gone anyway.But it has almost no hold whatsoever. I bought it to style my handlebar and even though I don’t have a stiff hair it could not hold my hair in place for more than half an hour.I imagine there’s a difference between beard wax and moustache wax. It would be a perfect wax for beard, but it didn’t satisfy my needs. Will still use for my goatee.

Ich habe schon wirklich sehr viele Produkte ausprobiert für den Bart und das Wax von Seven Potions hat es in mein Portfolio geschafft.Pflegt und Stylt über den ganzen Tag (bei normalen Bedingungen) und das mit guten Inhaltsstoffen!Jeder Hersteller hat so seine eigene Strategie wie er sein Produkt deklariert... Balm, Pomade, Creme oder Wax.. für den Verbraucher der sich mit den einzelnen Inhaltsstoffen nicht so auskennt, kann das sehr verwirrend sein!Für den Bart Bestens geeignet, für den Schnurrbart bedingt würde ich meinen, da sollte man eher zu einem Schnurrbart Wax greifen.

Looks natural and smells rather nice.I would not say it has a medium/firm hold as advertised though, more of a light/soft hold in my opinion.

Smells nice, but this is in no way a medium hold. The moment it touched my fingers I knew this to be the case and when applied to beard and moustache it was confirmed. If you have any semblance of a coarse beard that is looking to be styled with hold, I would not recommend this product.

I got a quite curly bears so this was was not strong enough for me to prevent hairs from poking out really...Though I'd say it's probably good if your hair is straighter.

As advertised, this is a beard wax and not a beard balm which is what I wanted. I have used many beard waxes and balms over the years and decided to give the Seven Potions a try. This beard wax is described as a medium hold and I would say that is about right. On my scale, I would put it between a light and medium hold with it being closer to medium. The scent, Woodland Harmony, is mild and not overpowering which I enjoy.I have found that the wax keeps my beard in check throughout most of the day, but one evening I did need to add a little more wax to keep it in check. Now this wax seems to dull the color of my beard a bit once it is applied compared to other waxes. I don't know, maybe it is just in my mind.The tin that it comes in is very small, only 1 fluid ounce which is what was advertised. To put it in prospective, it is about the size of giving the okay sign with your hand (thumb and index finger). The tin also list the directions on the back side.I also received an initial email from the seller that provided tips on their products and beard care recommendations. I thought that was pretty cool. A nice product, I have used another beard wax that I will probably go back to in the future due to the firmer hold.

This is a great Beard Balm or (wax as they call it). I have used many balms including some high priced "styling Balms". This gives more hold than any "Heavy Duty" balm. What I like is in the can it is hard like mustache wax. Kinda hard to scrap out, I just use a tool. I have maybe a 2" beard. A nickle size amount works great for my extremely rowdy hairs. Then prepare for an arm workout because you really want to warm it up in your hands. Then I rub DOWN on top of the beard and then up from the chin. Now I have even coverage. Of course I do this a couple times. Sometimes after I apply it I might take a hair dryer to it on high heat at a medium setting (Only when I have to look extra good). That allows me to shape and tame this animal on my face. Also a huge, HUGE benefit is this stuff does not get stiff like mustache wax. If "Heavy Duty" beard balm doesn't hold enough for you or feels to greasy, this is for you! Oh, that reminds me. The heavy duty beard balms always make me feel greasy because I have to use SOOOO much. And it still only holds for half a day. Then, I still feel greasy. This stuff is leaves barely any of that feel. Think about this, you pay less for a 2 oz. heavy duty beard balm and have to use twice to three times as much for hold and deal with the greasy feeling or buy this and use half the amount of the cheaper stuff. The cost in the long run is well worth it. Trust me. For those wondering how about how easy it is to wash out, beard shampoo and a hot shower removes it all. If you don't use a beard shampoo everyday when you shower or bathe you can simply rub your fingers though your beard when you shower and that removes most of the product. When I say most of the product I mean that some is still present but not enough to stop you from oiling your beard. Also it won't mess with your pillow cases. I will buy this again.

This is the first wax I've ever bought him. He only uses it when we go out, not on a daily basis. I could see a slight difference when he used the wax, but, nothing extreme. So, I'd say this has a light to medium hold. The thing that I don't like is the scent; I can't really think of anything to compare it to, but, I guess I'd put it in the carmex lip balm, scentless candle, category. Not the best comparison, because I actually like that lip balm smell, but, yeah, this wax, there's just something about it that I don't like. Luckily, the smell of it isn't strong. I can't connect the scent, to what it's called, Woodland Harmony. It's like calling something Strawberry Daydream, but, it smells like plain chapstick. In short, I just don't like it, but, you get light to medium hold, lol.

It seems good but I guess I expected better hold. For someone else It might be perfect.It feels like wax when I scrape some out then as soon as I start to rub it in my palms it feels like balm only. For me the Balm ingredients really lessen the holding ingreadents to much.That said if my beard was more tame I might love this stuff.I still gave 4 star because the problem is my beard not the products.
