Very solidly constructed, the measurement instructions were spot on, and the install was a cinch. What sucked was getting the old riveted wheels off, first we tried to drill them out and finally had to go at the rivet with a grinder. The suitcase survived, and with new wheels, it's got lots of milage left in it!

I've bought these wheels 2 times now. I fixed my duffel bag wheels and now my Oakley carry on. The old rubber liner fell off and caused a loud noise going down the airport. I bought these wheels and replaced and work great. Really quiet and roll smooth and the wheel barrings spin smooth. For the money saved me on having to get a whole new baggage. Worth the effort to fix and replace. Thanks!

My rolling bag was noisy because of the plastic tires it came with. Took a little time to figure out how to get the original ones off but putting these on was easy and quick. The bag rolls smooth and the noise difference is amazing.

They fit my luggage exactly but it is pain in the neck to change them. It takes me for a while to change them.

Although the size is slightly off, the quality of the wheels are realy good.

My favorite carry-on luggage got a flat tire -- like a flailing box being drug around the airport as the factory wheel came apart after 20 years of service -- my wife said get a new one!,, but I like my carry-on friend -- it fits my suits perfectly and fits into the overhead just right. So I bought these wheels and watched a Youtube video and installed the new wheels onto my old reliable luggage -- back into the closet waiting for my next trip -- life can be good, my traveling friend was not ready to be retired and these wheels give it new life.

These suitcase wheels appear to be well made and worked when installed on my suitcase. The repair was much more difficult than I thought it would be. Using you tube videos I removed the plastic section housing the wheels from the suitcase. This part went rapidly using a phillips head screw driver and a drill to remove the 4 rivets connecting the plastic wheel housing to the suitcase. The next part of drilling out the rivet fastening the wheel to the housing also went rapidly, however the wheel would not release from the plastic housing. I next had to use a hack saw to saw the axle of the wheel to release the wheel. This took a while and I did ding up the plastic housing with the hacksaw. Once the wheels were removed I then measured the wheels and the dimensions and ordered the wheels I needed. This kit installed the wheels rapidly, however, it comes with no instructions. Then I used the phillips head screw driver to reinstall the screws connecting the plastic wheel housing to the suitcase. I checked to make sure the suitcase rolls easily. I now need to go get the #10 flathead machine screws , #10 flathead washer and 10_24 nylon lock nut to replace the rivets. This repair took me 2 hours. I recommend you first remove the plastic wheel housing before ordering the wheels to make sure you order the correct size.

After 11 years my High Sierra two-bags-in-one with wheels had worn out its wheels. I discovered this wheel kit for a reasonable price. I think the value and quality is excellent. The fit was just right for my bag, which is no longer sold. It did take me several hours to install the wheels, however.Among other issues, I had to go to the hardware store to buy a new blade for my hacksaw. The hacksaw was the only way I could remove the old wheels from the bag. There were also four substantial rivets that had to be drilled out.If my eleven-year-old bag was still sold, I’d have sprung for a new one. However, Samsonite bought out the company and in their wisdom, discontinued this model.
