Challenging Ideas, but Poor Delivery at Times
Firstly, if you aggressively believe you know what love is, don’t bother getting this book. It’s for the humble mind and soul that’s seeking to learn (or unlearn) their theories of love. Proceed with openness and courage.Being familiar with Osho’s catalogue, I purchased this book in agreement with a friend who needed a new theory of love; because I believe that you cannot practice the art of love without a theory of it. Many of us are practicing with an insufficient or ineffective theory of love. Personally, I needed a revision to my theory of love, and this is book is undeniably informative.Osho, per usual, delivers much of his ideas and concepts through the vehicle of poetry while also serving as a cultural critic in our “love” exploits. He’s unforgivingly vulgar at times; in others, very subliminal. The layout hints at a conversational style as throughout the book he is merely replying to questions from audience members. It’s a fluid read, but it also demands some intermittent reflection to truly understand the meanings in his yogic rants. Many of the ideas are radical; sometimes absurd; provocative; but surprisingly sensible. His messages imply that love should make you conscious, mature, courageous, joyful, alive, creative, and independent when in the air of an exclusive relationship. If you adhere to any religion, and your convictions are strong, you may want to temper your beliefs before reading to avoid some cognitive dissonance.Osho taps on topics of sex, intimacy, parenting, personal growth, gender roles, gender equality, marriage, tradition and religion, soul vs. ego, and emotional wellness. Some of his metaphors are inconsistent at times, which invoked some confusion (I’m also a poet). Still, many of the concepts and ideas are protrusive enough to inspire serious consideration.Overall, there is a wealth of ideas to integrate into your personal theories of love. Many of them are worthy of informing our personal goals and shaping our practice in being loving and being loved. The contents challenge you to unlearn or at least critically assess your inherited cultural views and personal experiences of love. Just when you believe you know what love is, this book prances along and sings “think again”! It’s a book that deserves several reads over the life span. While there’s no obligation to agree with everything that’s in this book, I recommend considering that perhaps your knowledge and wisdom is fallible.Positively life-changing!

A great book that will change your perspective of love as a whole!
To clear things up a little I will begin by stating that this isn't a proper book or rather this book was not originated as such; this is a collection or rather a transcription of speeches and interviews given by OSHO arranged together to give shape to this book (A fact a little note lets you know at the end of the book). The statement above is by no means a critique, since overall, the content of each chapter usually flowed nicely into the next, that is until the book switches the format a little and whole chapters are dedicated to answering couple's questions (remember this is a recollection of speeches and interviews OSHO had), from there on the rhythm struggles a little in comparison to previous chapters, since some of the questions are greatly different one from another.Other than that, this is a great book, it's content filled with eye opening wisdom in all things love. This was my first OSHO book and having enjoyed it so much it won't be my last.I came to this book on a hard time in my life, having read many books on relationships and counseling I switched topics, perhaps searching for a book about the whole concept on love in general would suit me best.Turns out it did, not only did it help me let go of the past and heal, OSHO's rather unique views on love and relationships changed how I viewed and approached people in general, it helped me to let go and let thing be, I learned about love and realized how ignorant I was regarding this concept, how incomplete my vision and idea of love were. I feel like I gained a lot from reading this book and I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone. Really, everyone should read this book at least once, it is filled with such wisdom it will change your life at least a little, in my case it helped me out of a bad case of heart break and as stated gave me a whole new vision of love.I do have to say though, some of OSHO's ideas (a few mind you) seemed a little radical to me, and I won't follow suit with them. However I found many ideas I literally felt in love with. My advice when reading a book that contains some controversial ideas (again very few in my opinion) is to take all the positive ideas you find and merge them with your way of thinking, take the best of both worlds and you will logically become a better person.

Great Content
With Osho be prepared to stretch your mind to some degree. He is a visionary and speaks volumes on the truths of love. This book helped me re-work and even throw out a lot of long held ideas I had about love. It helped me to see how limited my stories and beliefs had kept me and how I was the one in my own way, not any lovers of the past as I had imagined. Highly recommend.

POWERFULLY AWAKENING!!
This book here, it like several rays of sunshine is beaming ALL over me. I now have a better understanding of love and how to love. So many of us really don't know what love is, myself included. It will tremendously change how we define the concepts of love. Osho seems to have great wisdom. I'm definitely reading more of his books.

OSHO still has decent teachings!
Same with any OSHA book if you can ignore his life path you can learn from his teachings if you realize it’s just knowledge. Wonderful outlook on this book otherwise, more than physical awareness and realization of more than just a connection. These are things that this book has helped me understand a little better. It seems rather outdated in examples but the teachings are rather simple to understand! Enjoy it!

Challenged my concept of love
I really enjoyed this book. It's radical and challenging, but so many things ring true to my soul. Highly recommended for people looking for a new meaning on love or redefining their concept about love.

Excellent
Well there are things i do agree with and there are others which i don't. But it's not something I cannot be open-minded about. It truly was an amazing book and would recommend it especially if you can take it as an observer rather than a follower, it can be eye-opening

NO NO NO.
Nope. This just was not the book for me - maybe I did not give it the time of day, but reading the first few chapters I can just see how the generalisations made within the book aren't fitting with my own set of personal beliefs. I'm quite an open minded person, but categorising parents or other groups of people within a set frame of values, just didn't work for me. I.e. Not "all" parents are toxic- maybe this is a wording issue, but it felt way too generalistic to even grasp. Totally regret wasting my money on this!

A Thinking Of Beyond This Time...
this book got delivered on 5th of November and I read the whole book by today on 7th of November... I would say this book is just so awesome and addictive that if you start reading it you won't stop until it is finished... Now coming to the content... This book clears all the doubts relating to love and relationships... and most importantly it will help and teach you HOW TO LOVE WITHOUT ATTACHMENT AND SUFFERING... and there is nothing in this book that you cannot relate to your surroundings... A must read book for all... and of course OSHO was ahead of his time and even this time...
